This is a Research Assistant position. The primary function is to work on NIH-funded research projects on systemic inflammation caused vascular damage, aging, and fatty liver diseases. We are seeking a motivated research assistant with a strong passion for life sciences research to join our team. The candidate must be a team player with good work ethics. Preferred qualifications include research experience in vascular and metabolic diseases, and a background in cellular and molecular biology, immunohistology, immunology, biochemistry, and animal studies. The position is based in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Biophysics, and the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute at Boston University School of Medicine. Our research focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the metabolic regulation of systemic inflammation leading to vascular damage, aging, and fatty liver diseases.
