Summary of Job Duties:The Research Technician, will provide support for multidisciplinary biomedical research studying mechanisms of human disease. Techniques employed include biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, genetics, preclinical (mouse) models, studies using human biospecimens and advanced analytical approaches including mass spectrometry. The position would be best suited for a recent graduate with a bioscience degree who is interested in gaining experience working in a research laboratoryQualifications:
  • HS/GED plus 1 year experience in performing tests in a research laboratory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a Bioscience field or equivalent.


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Performs research within the scope of the job description under direct supervision from Dr Morris and other laboratory staff.
  • Maintains lab equipment.
  • Maintains lab supplies & materials. Laboratory ordering.


Salary Information:

Commensurate with education and experience
