Position Summary
Research Tech position in a moderate-sized, highly dynamic, and productive research lab working in immunity to human parasitic infections using primarily mouse models. Specific duties will vary with the project but may include maintenance of cultured cells and parasites, performance of in vitro and in vivo tests for the effectiveness of antiparasite drugs, plasmid construction, CRISPR screening, immunological assays (Luminex, Flow Cytometry), tissue preparation, and microscopy. Many opportunities will exist for developing a diverse skill set and for gaining experience and independence in designing and executing research experiments and protocols.
