Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Research Technician III to support the principal investigator by coordinating multiple studies, collecting data, and reporting results. You will supervise research assistants and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a basic science (Master’s preferred), 3–7 years’ lab experience, proficiency in statistics, PCR, gel electrophoresis and data management.

  • Trains and mentors staff; coordinates schedules and priorities.
  • Performs routine/non-routine tests such as western blots and immunofluorescence.

The RT-III works on independent projects, collects and analyzes data and reports results. This position is responsible for coordinating multiple research studies as well as the analytical, administrative and supervisory functions necessary to manage the department's research programs. The RT-III directs research assistants and medical students.Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree in basic science or related field.
