7144 13th Place NWWashington, DC 20012Kids Are Our Everything.Department10384 Research Ctr for Genetic MedPay Range$100,000.00 - $300,000.00Research Faculty hold a greater than > 0.50 FTE position at Children's National Hospital and must meet the requirements for a full Faculty appointment at the George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, with the expectation for developing and conducting research and securing outside grant and contract fundings for scholarly research activities. The faculty member is responsible for generating and testing hypotheses related to a field of research by initiating, carrying out and managing research projects/programs supported by external, peer-reviewed sources. The individual may also be responsible for other job-specific academic and service activities, supervising and advising laboratory, graduate and post-doctoral staff and students, developing educational programs and teaching assignments and publishing in recognized, peer-reviewed journals, and/or presenting at conferences or symposiums.
