The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Boston seeks a laboratory assistant to conduct routine experiments under close supervision, following established protocols and procedures. You will help with culture, assays, data collection and basic analysis.
Responsibilities include tissue culture, PCR, immunohistochemistry, electrophoresis, protein purification, reagent prep, record-keeping, and maintaining equipment and animal census records.
Under close supervision of Principal Investigator, conducts a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, and other laboratory techniques. May also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and monitor animal colonies.

Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
