A leading company is seeking a detail-oriented Computer Applications Specialist to enhance their Qualtrics-based survey administration platform. We are seeking a detail-oriented Computer Applications Specialist to join our team supporting satisfaction surveys and assessments. In this role, you will configure, maintain, and enhance a Qualtrics-based survey administration and data-collection platform, integrate sample frames and disposition codes, manage large PII-protected data transfers via DoD SAFE, and automate reporting workflows for weekly and monthly deliverables. You will partner closely with survey researchers, data analysts, and project leadership to ensure data integrity, system performance, and compliance with DHA and DoD IT security policies. Job Duties
Configure, maintain, and enhance a Qualtrics web-based survey administration and data-collection platform for our federal clients satisfaction surveys
Integrate sampling frames and disposition codes to ensure accurate respondent tracking
Manage secure, PII-protected data transfers via DoD SAFE and similar encrypted file-transfer tools
Develop and automate weekly and monthly reporting workflows to support project deliverables
Collaborate with survey researchers, data analysts, and project leadership to validate data integrity, monitor system performance, and uphold DHA/DoD IT security policies
Skills
Supporting survey deployment, managing Qualtrics workflows, ensuring data quality and privacy controls, and performing file export and formatting operations as required for deliverables
Thorough understanding of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) and NIST SP 800-171 security controls
Hands-on experience with DoD SAFE or equivalent encrypted file-transfer solutions
Aptitude for designing and executing quality-control procedures and rapidly troubleshooting technical issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting technical procedures and conveying status updates
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline
Minimum of three years' experience supporting or developing web-based survey or data-collection systems.
U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
Completion of DHA privacy and cybersecurity training prior to onboarding
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience within a federal health or military environment, particularly working with defense survey platforms
Familiarity with data-visualization or business-intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Professional IT security certification such as Security+ or CISSP
Demonstrated history of process improvement or systems integration in large-scale survey operations
