Job Description

The person in this position will coordinate an NIH-funded study of transcranial photobiomodulation in major depressive disorder and assist with an investigation of mild cognitive impairment/early Alzheimer's disease. Primary duties include recruiting, screening, and repeatedly assessing research subjects, organizing MRI scans, managing regulatory documents, ensuring compliance, data entry and analysis, and administrative tasks such as monitoring study spending and purchasing supplies. The role requires excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. To apply, submit a cover letter, CV/resume, and contact information for 3 references.

Job Duties
  1. Recruit patients through advertisements, outreach, and screening processes.
  2. Administer clinical interviews (e.g., MINI, MADRS, IDS, C-SSRS).
  3. Conduct brain imaging studies.
  4. Manage and analyze data using software like RedCap, Excel, and Acquire.
  5. Maintain confidentiality and detailed databases of participant information.
  6. Prepare IRB submissions and assist with grant applications and budgets.
  7. Conduct literature reviews and summaries.
  8. Manage lab supplies and coordinate with administrative offices.
  9. Train volunteers and junior staff as needed.
