Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA seeks a Research Strategist to execute research strategy and deliver actionable insights guiding decisions for Amazon employees.

You will lead end-to-end user research studies, collaborate with design, product management, economists, and scientists, and communicate findings to executives to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience
• Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
• Experience in leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
• Experience (end to end) with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
• Experience with lab-based user testing, remote testing, iterative prototype testing, survey design, and usage of multiple methods within a study
• Have a portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas)

About The Team

The Central Science Team within Amazon's People Experience and Technology organization (PXTCS) uses economics, behavioral science, statistics, and machine learning to improve Amazon processes while enhancing Amazonians' well-being and work value. Our interdisciplinary team combines science, research, human-centered design, and engineering to develop solutions that measurably achieve this goal.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
