Job summary

Citi Research in New York is seeking a US Equity Strategy Analyst to join its US Equity Strategy team. The role demands strong analytical skills and independence to drive high-impact market insights and investment themes for internal and external clients.

You will develop as a subject matter expert on US equity markets, publish research, and collaborate with global Citi teams. The position offers a hybrid work model and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in equity research, investment strategy, or a closely related financial markets discipline.
• FINRA Series 86, 87 & 63 and the SIE or to obtain within 180 days.
• Demonstrates advanced technical and analytical skills with the ability to construct and manage sophisticated financial models and databases.
• Communicates clearly and persuasively in both written and spoken formats, with the ability to present complex ideas accessibly to a range of audiences.
• Works with a methodical and structured approach, managing multiple deliverables with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
• Holds, or is able to obtain and maintain, applicable regulatory licenses relevant to the role and jurisdiction.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university-level qualification.

US Equity Strategy Strategist

Citi Research has an opening for an Equity Research Analyst to join its US Equity Strategy team. This is a demanding role requiring exceptional analytic skills along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a small team. The individual will take ownership of several processes critical to our published work. You will produce high-impact analysis of equity markets and investment themes incorporated in the advice which Citi delivers to both internal and external clients worldwide. In this role, we expect you will develop into a subject matter expert on US equity markets. This is an opportunity to make a direct and measurable contribution to our research product and be an integral part in developing our US equity market calls and insight.
