Responsibilities
  • Participates in and coordinates the planning, development, and implementation of research protocols in accordance with established research parameters.
  • Recruits, enrolls, and retains eligible research participants, ensuring required documentation is collected and processed.
  • Provides basic study background and education to participants.
  • Oversees and conducts the planning, scheduling and implementation of daily research activities and procedures, ensuring adequate care and respect for participants.
  • Inputs data and maintains records needed for research.
  • Distributes research information to faculty, research staff, investigators, and others as requested.
  • Ensures all research activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocols, clinical procedures, and safety standards.
  • The duties listed are general in nature and are interacts with all members of the research team to assure quality data collection and reporting in accordance with study protocols and research standards.
Physical and Environmental Demands

Requires frequent exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold, frequent handling or working with potentially dangerous equipment, exposure to biohazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles, and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations, occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours, occasional travelling to offsite locations, occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, constant work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, frequent bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, frequent crouching/stooping, occasional driving, occasional kneeling, frequent pushing/pulling, frequent reaching, frequent sitting, frequent standing, frequent twisting, and frequent walking.
