Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, IT, STEM or equivalent.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript for user-facing layouts and behavior.
• Proficiency in server-side runtimes (Node.js, PHP) and MongoDB.
• Experience with Git, API integration and responsive design.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, reproducible workflows, and testing.
• Ability to document for scientific users and developers and perform code reviews.
• Capacity to collaborate with researchers and adopt modern workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, expand, and deploy a scalable scientific database layout for active research.
• Develop, refactor, profile, test, and package prototype code for long‑term sustainability.
• Create user-facing features for data input, display, and data file management.
• Collaborate with researchers on software development workflows and documentation.
