Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience developing in multiple programming languages.
• Experience with distributed software development and containers.
• Open-source contributions with teams of developers and system engineers.
• Ability to design and deploy AI models and ML workflows.
• Experience using Linux, especially RHEL, and Agile with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy and operate software for distributed research environments using OpenShift/OpenStack and other open-source tools.
• Develop, deploy, upgrade, monitor and troubleshoot software in research environments and university computing contexts.
• Contribute code to open-source projects supporting research computing and hybrid cloud initiatives.
• Collaborate with researchers to design, train and optimize AI/ML models for science applications; mentor students and run hackathons or tutorials.
