Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: social impact of AI, reinforcement learning, multimodal agents, computational social science, or natural language understanding.

Minimum qualifications
  • PhD in Computer Science, Computational Social Science, Statistics, or a related field.

About The Job

We are looking for a Research Scientist to develop cutting-edge social simulation techniques powered by large language models. This role focuses on building computational frameworks of human simulations that are (1) accurate and predictive of real-world behavior, judgements, and opinions, (2) representative of societal diversity, and (3) scalable: simulating individuals to large groups and societies. Key responsibilities include formulating metrics and validation methods, developing frameworks for multimodal environments, collaborating with product teams to drive research, and publishing high-impact research in top AI and social science venues.

You will join an interdisciplinary team of domain experts, machine learning researchers, social scientists, and engineers to conduct cutting-edge research and advance the next generation of computational frameworks that simulate human social behavior at scale to advance societal health.

US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
