Meta is seeking talented Research Scientists for the MRS Core Modeling team to advance AI/ML methods for recommendations across mobile and web platforms. You will design, implement, and deploy novel models while collaborating with product teams to drive user-centric improvements.

The role emphasizes staying current with ML research, publishing findings, and translating insights into scalable systems that impact millions of users globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed prior to joining Meta
• PhD in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence or related field
• Experience developing software and executing complex experiments with large ML/AI models and datasets
• Direct experience in AI/ML/NLP research
• Familiarity with DL frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment
• Industry experience in Recommendations, Ranking, and LLM-related topics
• Interest in applying research findings to product needs
• Experience bringing ML-based products from research to production
• Experience with interdisciplinary/cross-collaboration
• High-impact publications at ML/AI conferences and journals (e.g., ICML, NeurIPS)
