Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in software engineering; 3+ years with a PhD.
• 3+ years in ML, recommendation systems, or related field.
• Experience developing ML models at scale from inception to impact.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Java; Python, Perl, PHP, or shell scripting.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript or Hack.
• Ability to lead initiatives, set technical direction, and influence product strategy.
• Experience designing or deploying recommender systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., BERT, GPT) in production.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative application experiences.
• Implement UI components and reusable back-end interfaces.
• Develop scalable software components interfacing with back-end platforms.
• Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Lead major initiatives and provide technical guidance to peers.
• Architect efficient, scalable systems for complex applications.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Work with multiple languages and technologies.
• Own components, features, or systems end-to-end.
