Job summary

Unicon Pharma Inc. seeks a Research Scientist to advance biomarker strategies and translational medicine for CAR-T programs in Multiple Myeloma.

The role bridges Research and Clinical Development, engaging with cross-functional teams to shape biomarker plans and regulatory interactions. You will lead PK/PD guidance, contribute to protocols, analyze data, and support regulatory submissions while collaborating with external partners and KOLs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences required.
• Experience with oncology/immunology/cancer immunotherapy.
• Experience with regulatory filings and clinical/translational development.
• Knowledge of GxP biomarker operations and bioanalytical assays.
• Experience with engineered T cells, immunophenotyping, or NGS.
• Strong cross-functional communication and data presentation skills.

Title: Research Scientist – Multiple Myeloma, Translational Medicine

Location: Hybrid RDMC | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM |

Role

Support biomarker and translational strategy for CAR-T clinical development in Multiple Myeloma, bridging Research and Clinical Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PK/PD and biomarker strategy for CAR-T clinical trials.
• Serve as Biomarker Lead on clinical study teams and support pivotal/registrational filings.
• Contribute to clinical protocols, trial execution, data analysis, and regulatory responses.
• Manage CRO collaborations and bioanalytical method transfers.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biometrics/Stats, Bioinformatics, and Translational Medicine teams.
• Support biomarker, tumor biology, and CAR-T functionality studies.
• Prepare data packages for publications, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
• Engage with external collaborators and KOLs.

Required Qualifications

• PhD/MD/PharmD + 3+ years, or MS + 5+ years, or BS + 7+ years scientific experience.
• Strong oncology/immunology/cancer immunotherapy background, preferably Multiple Myeloma.
• Experience with regulatory filings and clinical/translational development.
• Knowledge of clinical/biomarker operations and bioanalytical assays in GxP environments.
• Experience with engineered T cells, immunophenotyping, and/or NGS.
• Strong cross-functional communication, data presentation, collaboration, and attention to detail.
