The Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) at Iowa State University is seeking a part-time Research Scientist II to support federally funded research and evaluation projects focused on occupational safety training, participant engagement, and program effectiveness. In this role, you will coordinate training and participant activities that are directly connected to a funded project. You will coordinate data collection activities, maintain data and quality assurance processes, assist with analyzing and interpreting project outcomes, and write reports, and grant-related activities. You will also serve as a resource to project participants, project personnel, and external partners. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to applied projects that connect occupational safety training, program evaluation, and occupational safety and health. The successful candidate will work with a significant degree of independence under general supervision while collaborating with faculty, researchers, students, project staff, and external partners.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to federally funded applied project that connects occupational safety, training, and program evaluation with real-world challenges in agricultural and biosystems engineering. You'll work alongside faculty, and external partners while contributing to improvements training and program effectiveness. This is a term position that may have opportunity for renewal based on funding. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
