Job summary

Job description

We're supporting a growing organisation looking for an experienced scientist to work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Biological Research and Drug Discovery.

We're interested in speaking with scientists from a broad range of life sciences backgrounds who have strong technical expertise in their respective fields, alongside an interest in applying AI to complex scientific problems.

Ideal candidates will have:

• An advanced degree (Ideally PhD) in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Pharmacology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong hands-on research experience within biotech, pharma or an academic research environment.
• Expertise in analysing and interpreting complex biological or experimental datasets.
• Experience using AI/ML tools to support scientific research, data analysis or decision-making.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI, LLMs, AI agents, bot development or automated scientific workflows would be particularly interesting.
• Strong scientific reasoning, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to critically assess research findings and technical outputs.

We're open to scientists from both experimental (wet-lab) and computational backgrounds, particularly those who understand how AI can be applied to real-world biological research.
