Perosphere Technologies is hiring a Research Scientist to join the team based in Danbury, CT! This will be an onsite role, 5 days a week.

About Perosphere Technologies

Perosphere is an emerging medical device company which designs, develops and manufactures a diagnostic medical device with addresses an unmet need in a critical medical market. The company’s technology provides an innovative approach to management of critical medical conditions related to hemostasis, i.e., blood coagulation and therapeutic anticoagulation. The Senior Quality Engineeer will play a central and key role in the company’s global market penetration by leading ambitious programs for both company and device certifications and registrations in the USA and on a global basis. The incumbent is a key member of middle management and works side-by-side with the Executive Leadership Team to plan, execute and deliver on these strategic objectives.

Research Scientist Overview

The Research Scientist is a mid-level member of the research and development team responsible for execution of investigative studies related to product development and support of product claims. This individual will work collaboratively with other R&D team members to contribute to the development of products at Perosphere.

This individual conducts experiments in a laboratory setting with minimal direct supervision and provides scientific expertise as appropriate. As projects are defined, this individual may serve on project teams as R&D support for specific authorized development programs and will be expected to assist the project leader with tasks assigned throughout product development.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to the development and execution of clinical study protocols and research plans.
• Analyze and interpret clinical trial data to support decision-making.
• Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and figures for publications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biostatisticians and medical experts.
• Support manufacturing activities and as appropriate assist in transfer to contract manufacturers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in clinical research methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, data analysis, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to think critically and innovatively in the industrial research and development setting, focusing on deliverable outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Master’s degree in relevant scientific discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the medical device business.
