A global leader in Scientific AI in Life Sciences is seeking a Research Science Specialist to drive innovation in research and development. This role requires a deep understanding of scientific methodologies and strong analytical skills, alongside an opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to significant scientific advancements. As a member of McKinsey's global Scientific AI team, you will apply your expertise at the intersection of scientific disciplines (e.g., chemistry, computational biology, medical/medicine domain expertise, protein engineering, materials science, biostatistics, physics) and artificial intelligence (e.g., machine learning, generative AI, foundation models) to shape and scale the firm's scientific innovation capabilities.

For new joiners for this role in the United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, a reasonable estimated range
is $140,000 - $143,400 USD -to help you understand what you can expect. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest
[salary/hourly wages] for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important
to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current
organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion
and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
