Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking a Research & Scholarship Programs Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support for medical student research and resident scholarly activities. You will coordinate daily program operations, maintain databases, and assist with communications and events.

Working closely with the Associate Dean for Research, you will help recruit mentors, manage calendars, track milestones, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience required.
• Experience in higher education, academic medicine, research administration, or graduate medical education preferred.
• Experience using data management and reporting tools (REDCap, Qualtrics, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of student and resident research and scholarship programs.
• Schedule meetings, advising appointments, and mentor consultations.
• Serve as primary contact for students, residents, faculty mentors, and stakeholders.
• Support implementation of research initiatives and program timelines.
• Assist with mentor recruitment, onboarding, and engagement efforts.
• Maintain databases and communications for program management.
