University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

Position Summary

Temporary, full time "non-exempt", benefited position through 5 / 31 / 2023 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).

Salary : $3750.00 per month

Program Summary :

NIH funded project investigating risk factors of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders (ADRD). ADRD is a growing public health concern for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI / ANs) people, but AI / ANs are profoundly underrepresented in ADRD research. This study will quantify the extent of probable ADRD and VBI as defined by brain MRI, and determine their associations with cognitive functioning in a diverse sample of urban AI / AN elders.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically, Monday-Friday from 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm though some nights, weekend work may be required.

First Review Deadline

This position will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed beginning 8 / 17 / 2022.

Typical Activities

The recruiter will be involved in community outreach and prescreen possible candidates for their eligibility to participate in the study.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: An Associate's Degree or two completed years of college.
  • Experience: Professional or personal experience with Native communities is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate related scientific field, or relevant experience (e.g. health care setting, recruiter experience)
  • Due to the nature of the research studies, professional or personal experience with Native communities is highly desirable.
