Job summary

Reflection is a research labmaking intelligence open and accessible. We hire a Research Program Manager who embeds with research and infrastructure teams to accelerate frontier model development and scale training infrastructure.

You’ll ensure end-to-end operation, unblock teams, and drive reliable, high-performance training environments. You will jump into incidents, drive resolution, and translate complex tech into clear updates for leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, research operations, or infrastructure coordination.
• Deep technical knowledge to discuss distributed training frameworks, GPU cluster architecture, and storage systems.
• Proven ability to operate in high-ambiguity, fast-moving environments and create structure.
• Track record of managing complex, multi-team programs with hard deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-functional programs spanning training infrastructure and cluster reliability across pre-, mid-, and post-training workstreams.
• Drive end-to-end coordination scaling the training stack with engineering leads and external partners.
• Triage incidents, coordinate response, and drive post-mortem improvements across teams.
• Partner with infrastructure and research leads to identify bottlenecks and align infrastructure investments with research velocity.
• Build visibility into training run health, cluster reliability, and infrastructure performance for leadership.
• Create durable cross-team handoffs, config management, and checkpoint workflows.
• Translate technical complexity into clear status updates for engineering leadership.
