Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a Grants Coordinator to work with faculty investigators and the Program Director to coordinate daily activities of research grants. You will develop grant materials, maintain databases, track deadlines, assist in budgeting, recruit/train staff, and organize meetings and outreach.

Job description

Summary

Work closely with faculty investigators and Program Director to coordinate the daily activities of the research grants. Provide support to the team to facilitate the achievement of each grant's goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate on the development of grant materials including intervention materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports. Work with faculty and administrative leaders to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to each grant. Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines and grant components. Coordinate and assist in the maintenance of the grant budget. Assist in recruitment and training of program staff. Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events. Conduct or coordinate training for research and other participants. Collect, analyze, and disseminate program data. Report program data and progress to program stakeholders. Provide input on program design. Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession. Coordinate and manage outreach activities including acting as a liaison with community organizations. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree. Minimum Required Experience: 3 years

Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory Acuity Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
