Job summary

The College of William & Mary Health Sciences department is seeking a Research Program Coordinator to support human clinical nutrition studies. The role coordinates randomized controlled dietary intervention trials, manages participant interactions, collects biological samples, and ensures regulatory compliance.

It also involves training undergraduate researchers and supporting lab operations. The candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator and contribute to the smooth operation

Job description

The Research Program Coordinator supports human clinical nutrition research studies at the College of William & Mary's Health Sciences department. This position coordinates randomized controlled dietary intervention trials, manages participant interactions, collects and processes biological samples, and oversees data management and regulatory compliance. The coordinator works closely with the Principal Investigator while also training undergraduate research assistants and supporting laboratory operations.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Physiology, Biology, Health Sciences, Psychology, Neuroscience, or related scientific field
• Experience in clinical, translational, or human participant research
• Experience following research protocols, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
