Job summary

William & Mary is seeking a Research Program Coordinator (Health Sciences) to support human nutrition studies and the lab's educational mission. The role coordinates randomized dietary intervention trials, manages regulatory requirements, and contributes to data analysis and dissemination.

The candidate will mentor undergraduates and teach clinical research methods. The position is part-time, up to 29 hours per week, with a pay rate of $28.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field and experience in clinical/human participant research.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience maintaining regulatory documentation and data integrity in clinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical trial activities including recruitment, screening, scheduling, and informed consent.
• Conduct participant assessments (anthropometric, physiological, cognitive) and collect data.
• Oversee biological samples and lab procedures (ELISA, saliva, blood) and manage data quality.
• Supervise undergraduate researchers and support instruction in research methods.
