Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine tests following established procedures (assays, DNA sequencing, PCR, electrophoresis, etc.).
• Collects and records basic study data; summarizes data with descriptive statistics.
• Performs literature searches and library investigations related to the research.
• Demonstrates flexibility as research projects evolve.
• Attends safety trainings and professional development activities.
• May demonstrate routine laboratory tasks to students and other research personnel.
