Job summary

Providence is seeking a Research Coordinator to independently coordinate research and administrative tasks in support of one or more studies at the St. Joseph Hospital-Orange location.

You will work with study investigators and managers to address issues, back up other coordinators, and support department finances through budgeting and billing. The role may require after-hours, on-call duties, occasional travel, and training of junior coordinators, contributing to quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Healthcare, or related field or 5 years of clinical research experience.
• 4 years job related experience.
• 2 years leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research and administrative tasks independently for one or more studies.
• Collaborate with investigators and manager to address study-related issues.
• Back up other coordinators as needed.
• Support department financial performance through budgeting and billing as directed.
• Develop specialized research instruments and assist in manuscript/presentation prep.
• May entail after-hours support, on-call work, and occasional travel.
• Train other research coordinators and participate in quality control activities.
