Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Research Nurse 1 to support principal investigators in clinical trials, learning trial phases from start to finish, and providing education to healthcare professionals. You will coordinate with the Pharmacy for projects and interact with investigators and managers.

You will screen patients for trial eligibility under HIPAA standards, complete study activities, and assist with final IRB reports, while using the Study Assistant Clinical Trials Management

Qualifications

• RN license required; BLS certification within 30 days.
• Associate degree required; nursing programs preferred.
• Strong written and spoken communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with departments on research and coordinate with a study head and investigators.
• Review new study protocols and materials from sponsors.
• Screen patients for trial eligibility per HIPAA standards; manage study queries.
