Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Research Nurse Coordinator II for the Memory and Aging Project (MAP). The role involves collecting health histories, performing physical measurements, cognitive tests, and coordinating study enrollment under PI guidance.
Responsibilities include adherence to IRB/HRO approvals, data collection, and supervision of staff as needed, with a focus on maintaining research integrity and patient safety in a multi-disciplinary team.
The Memory and Aging Project (MAP) Research Nurse Coordinator II is a member of a multi-disciplinary team serving as a nurse clinician collecting health and family histories, performing physical measurements, conducting semi-structured interviews and administering standardized cognitive tests for longitudinal Alzheimer and related dementia research. Will interact with research volunteers, with and without cognitive impairment, and their families as part of the research team conducting clinical assessments. The Research Nurse Coordinator II may also coordinate special studies, submitting applications to Washington University Institutional Review Board (IRB)/ Human Research Protection Office (HRPO), complying with all required human research standards, develop workflows and coordinates enrollment of study subjects. Ensures adherence to study procedures consistent with the study protocol and verifiable source documentation; May supervise personnel assigned to work on the study. Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to maintain continuity of care and human subject protection with a commitment to research integrity. May perform duties inclusive of those delegated to a Research Nurse Coordinator 1.

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
