Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Research Nurse Coordinator to join our team in Lexington, KY!

Job Description:

Under limited supervision, coordinates patient care in compliance with local, state and federal guidelinesand regulations through IRB approved protocol requirements. The research nurse coordinator workscollaboratively with the patient, other research staff, support system, referring physicians' staff, radiologists,
surgeons, supporting physician, pathologists, pathway staff and sponsors. In collaboration with theinvestigators, assess patients for changes in condition, adverse events, concomitant medication use,protocol compliance, response to study drug, and thoroughly document findings. The research nurse isalso responsible for the development and education of treatment plans and/or order sets and nursingeducation when applicable to a clinical trial. Completion of study feasibilities and coordination of variouspre-study activities are facilitated by the research nurse coordinator in collaboration with researchmanagement, staff and investigator.

Qualifications:

• BSN with two years' experience.

• In lieu of BSN, ADN with 5 years' experience is acceptable.

• Current RN License
