The role involves collaboration with research scientists to prototype novel modeling ideas for speech technologies, manage scalable systems for speech-to-text and text-to-speech, and design accessible tools for diverse stakeholders. Ideal candidates have strong experience in the machine learning research pipeline, proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, and are eager to leverage AI for impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating new architectures and modeling approaches.
• Experience building internal tools or dashboards for non-technical users.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams that include researchers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage horizontally scalable systems for STT and TTS.
• Design and implement internal UIs for ML systems.
• Oversee training tooling and job orchestration.

Skills

Strong experience with machine learning research pipeline

Proficiency with Docker

Proficiency with Kubernetes

Experience in STT or related speech domains

Hands-on experience with data engineering practices
