Role Overview:
Protobrand is seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join the growing research team. This position is based in Boston. As a Research Manager at Protobrand, you will play a pivotal role in being a member of the research function, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, data-driven insights that meet the strategic objectives of our clients. This role demands a blend of leadership skills, research expertise, and project management abilities.
The ideal candidate has a strong background and interest in market research and consumer behavior and is expected to contribute to the forward-thinking and innovative nature of our firm. In this role, the research manager will primarily lead client research projects but will also collaborate with our client services and product development teams. The individual should be a strategic thinker and problem solver, with the ability to turn data into insights and develop story-driven recommendations and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, execution, and delivery of end-to-end market research projects, including survey development, fielding operations, data analysis, insight development and report creation.
- Conduct both qualitative and quantitative analyses, applying robust methodologies to extract meaningful insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Delivery and Business Development, on study design and to ensure alignment with client objectives and timelines.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in market research.
- Proven track record of managing complex research projects from inception to completion, balancing multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, statistics, psychology, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience with survey analysis software (e.g., SPSS, MarketSight) is preferred.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- A proactive, innovation-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
