Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual reasons.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance (active TS/SCI clearance preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a researcher and writer analyzing emerging technology and national security issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead Insights product development for one or more assigned functional technology areas.
• Design and execute research projects and deliver timely, and impactful written analytic products on emerging tech.
• Collaborate with IQT subject matter experts to develop a program of analysis and solicit inputs for products.
• Publish two or more Insights products per month.
• Receive and respond to product feedback from leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify partner knowledge gaps and provide forward-leaning thought leadership.
• Utilize a variety of tools, databases, and sources to identify trends and impact.
• Represent the Insights team in engagements with IQT partners and brief government stakeholders.

Overview

Reporting to the Vice President, IQT Insights, the Research Manager, Insightsis responsible fordeveloping written, analytic products on emerging technology, industry, market, and geopolitical trends. The Research Manager will serve as the InsightsTeam'sleadanalystfor one or more functional technology topics.This role involvescollaboratingwith stakeholders across all of IQT toidentifyInsightstopics, develop products, and deliver unique,impactfulwrittenanalysisonemerging technology, national security, and global competitiveness to IQT's government partners. IQT Insights is the division of IQT that produces forward-lookingwrittenproducts about emerging technology.

• Represent the Insights team during engagements with existing and prospective IQT partnersand deliver Insights-focused briefings to government stakeholdersas-needed

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance (active TS/SCI clearance preferred)
• 5+ years of experience as a researcher and writer analyzingemerging technology and national security issues(Intelligence Community or US Federal Government experience preferred but notrequired)
• Strong writing skills, specifically storytelling for government audiencesof varying levels of technicalexpertise
• Experience presenting complex information in a clear, concise way
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstratedcommitment toteamwork and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, navigate analytic disagreements, and meet deadlinesBoundless intellectual curiosity and a passion for IQT's mission to support the US national security community.
