Role
The LatAm Strategy team is seeking an equity strategist to join the team in New York to focus on LatAm equity markets. The analyst would be part of the EM/LatAm Strategy team and work closely with LatAm equity analysts, FX and Fixed Income teams. The analyst or associate will be able to take part in all aspects of the research production – from idea generation, data analysis, report writing and then promoting to clients. The role will also involve maintenance and development of the various analytical tools and models produced by the team for clients. The analyst can expect to learn from and work with senior members of the team on specific projects, the results of which are published and sent out to clients.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $125,000 per year for Analyst and between $150,000 and $200,000 per year for Associate, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
