The Flow Cytometry and Immune Monitoring Core (FCIM) at USC Norris is seeking a self-motivated Research Lab Technician II to support clinical and laboratory research efforts. The ideal candidate will have:
Under the supervision of the Technical Director, the Research Lab Technician II will provide routine and specialized laboratory support for Immune Monitoring and Flow Cytometry services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in life sciences
Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on research experience in basic or clinical research, especially in the isolation and culturing of human PBMCs from blood samples.
Supervises: Nature of work involves supervision of laboratory activities.
Preferred Field of Expertise: Blood processing and isolation of human primary cells.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, combined experience/education as a substitute; 6-12 months of experience; ability to follow detailed instructions, both oral and written.
