Qualifications

• High school diploma and one year of clinical or research lab experience.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for required work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine experimental procedures: Western blotting, PCR/qPCR, ICC/IHC, and cardiac/brain physiology.
• Manage tissue and fluid biorepository; streamline orders, inventory, and safety data; coordinate hazardous waste.
• Consent and schedule patients for clinical studies; input RedCap data.
• Maintain records of procedures, protocols, equipment logs, and metadata; track safety training.
• Maintain and characterize specimens; assist with mouse colonies for Alzheimer's genetics and cardiac phenotypes.
• Respond to lab emergencies (e.g., -80°C freezer, liquid nitrogen) including after hours.
• Perform additional duties to support translational heart failure and tau-targeting immunotherapy projects.
