Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, Plant Science, Botany, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Candidates pursuing a science degree with relevant lab experience are encouraged to apply.
• 1+ year of relevant laboratory, research, agricultural, plant, or scientific experience.
• Familiarity with lab techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, sample preparation, or other basic lab methods is a plus.
• Candidates with plant sampling, greenhouse, field research, or agricultural research experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist scientists and technical staff with day‑to‑day research and laboratory activities.
• Collect, label, process, and organize plant and biological samples.
• Support laboratory testing and research activities, including DNA extraction and PCR.
• Assist with high‑throughput sample processing and laboratory workflows.
• Maintain accurate sample records, data, and laboratory documentation.
• Perform work according to established SOPs, methods, and safety procedures.
• Work in laboratory, greenhouse, and field settings as needed.
