Job Description Summary
Will assist senior level researchers on various supervised research projects within CAMIPM utilizing magnetic resonance imaging scanners in preclinical and clinical studies. The technician will carry out routine tasks such as preparation of experiment set-up, data collection, record keeping and assisting in the writing of publications. Will act as a back up in placing orders for supplies and maintaining inventory in the chemistry lab. Position contingent upon funding.

  • Conduct experiments using MRI scanners in preclinical and clinical studies
  • Implement and perform standard operating protocols for studies.
  • Generate and process data using MATLAB and Python software systems
  • Maintain inventory of lab supplies and order supplies
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Maintain inventory of lab supplies and order supplies, Process data generated from the MRI scans and assist in the writing of abstracts and manuscripts, Implement and perform standard protocols for clinical and pre-clinical magnetic resonance imaging experiments, Operate MRI equipment, including Siemens 3T and 7T whole body MRI scanners and 9.4T animal scanner, Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
