A Research Lab Technician position is available in the laboratories of Dr. Peng Li and Dr. Wenjing Wang at the Life Sciences Institute of the University of Michigan. We are looking for someone with a background in molecular biology and neurobiology to apply novel chemical tools in in vivo mouse model. You will perform rodent surgeries and histological analysis to examine the application of novel genetic tools in mouse models. You will report directly to both Dr. Peng Li and Dr. Wenjing Wang and will work full-time onsite.

Non-experimental tasks will include:
Bachelor's degree (or expected graduate) in Biology or related majors (e.g., Neuroscience, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry);
Prior experience in the following (>6 months):
Rodent surgeries (e.g., stereotaxic injection);
Rodent behavioral essays;
Mouse perfusion and tissue harvest;
Cryosectioning;
Immunofluorescence;
Confocal imaging.
