Research Assistant Position, Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging
PROJECTED START DATE: Summer 2025
We are seeking a full-time Research Technician to assist with all aspects of our cognitive neuroscience and psycholinguistic research. Our lab investigates where and when the brain activates during language processing. For more information, see: http://www.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/kuperberglab/. Responsibilities include coordinating research projects, collecting and analyzing neuroimaging data (fMRI, MEG, ERP), statistical analysis, manuscript writing, and maintaining lab operations.
This position offers experience in cognitive neuroscience, experimental psychology, psycholinguistics, clinical applications, database, and program management. It is ideal for someone aiming for graduate studies in related fields. The lab operates at Tufts University (Medford, MA) and the Martinos Center (Charlestown, MA), both accessible from Boston.

Responsibilities include working with a multidisciplinary team to collect and analyze neuroimaging data in healthy adults, and working on large language data sets using computational modeling.
Tasks include:
The candidate should work well with others to preprocess and analyze data, troubleshoot code, and perform statistical analyses using software like SPM8 and MNE-python. Creating visualizations and managing data for publications are also part of the role.
Additional tasks may include literature searches, maintaining lab documentation, organizing meetings, and preparing materials for publications or presentations.
