Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a research intern in spatial intelligence to work on cutting-edge computer vision and deep learning topics during Summer 2027. You will design and implement methods for generative AI for videos, reconstruction, simulation, and video understanding, with opportunities to publish.

Ideal candidates are current second-year or higher PhD students with strong Python, C++, CUDA, and PyTorch skills, plus a solid publication record and collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a second-year or higher PhD student in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of computer vision and deep learning theory and practice.
• Strong programming skills in Python; C++ and parallel programming (CUDA); familiarity with PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and implement methods for core topics: generative AI for videos, reconstruction, simulation, and video understanding.
• Publish original research at the internship conclusion.

## Research Intern, Spatial Intelligence - Summer 2027Apply: US, CA, Santa Clara: Full time: Posted Today: JR2027305NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding computer vision and deep learning intern researcher to join the spatial intelligence lab. We are passionate about research that pushes boundaries but also has impact in the real world!**What you’ll be doing:*** Research, design and implement methods for one of the key research topics of the team: generative AI for videos, reconstruction, simulation, video understanding, policy learning, reinforcement learning, VLMs.* Publish original research at the end of the internship.* Collaborate with other team members and teams.* Collaborate with external researchers.**What we need to see:*** Must currently be at least a second-year Ph.D. student in, e.g., Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics.* Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of computer vision methods, as well as deep learning.* Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environment such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA)* Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.* Outstanding research track record.* Very good publication record in computer vision, with a minimum of 2 papers (1 as main author) published at top venues CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR.* Excellent communications skills.* Good knowledge of version control systems, e.g., git.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers.
