Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in a relevant field as listed in the job posting.
• Experience designing, conducting, or analyzing human-subject studies.
• Strong understanding of empirical research methods including experimental and survey design.
• Experience analyzing quantitative data using Python, R, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Experience with qualitative or mixed-methods analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and run user studies of human-AI group collaboration.
• Study how AI teammate roles affect group interaction.
• Develop study protocols, surveys, and participant materials.
• Collect and analyze behavioral, survey, and interaction-log data.
• Conduct mixed-methods analyses linking quantitative results with observations.
• Identify patterns in team coordination, trust, workload, and participation.
• Translate findings into design implications for adaptive AI teammates.
• Support pilot testing, deployment, data cleaning, visualization, and documentation.
• Contribute to internal reports and publications.
