Job summary

Hitachi America, Ltd. is seeking a Research Intern in the Industrial AI Laboratory in Silicon Valley. You will help build a next-generation AI-powered knowledge platform that fuses engineering and OT knowledge, documents, and simulations.

You will work on Generative AI, RAG, Knowledge Graphs, and enterprise knowledge systems, collaborating with researchers to prototype solutions for industrial applications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a graduate degree in a related field (CS/AI/DS/Info Sci).
• Strong programming in Python and AI fundamentals required.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, NLP, Retrieval, and LLMs helpful.

Responsibilities

• Help develop an AI-powered knowledge platform for engineering knowledge and OT data.
• Prototype solutions integrating AI components and enterprise data sources.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on GenAI, RAG, and knowledge systems.
