Hitachi America, Ltd. in Silicon Valley invites a Research Intern for the Industrial AI Laboratory to help build an AI-powered knowledge platform that unifies engineering knowledge, OT data, documents, and simulation assets.

You will explore Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Knowledge Graphs, and enterprise knowledge systems while collaborating with researchers and engineers to prototype end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree in CS, AI, Data Science, Information Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Generative AI, NLP, Information Retrieval, ML, or Knowledge Representation.

Responsabilités

• Develop AI-powered knowledge platform integrating engineering and OT knowledge.
• Support intelligent search, knowledge discovery, and AI-assisted reasoning.
• Design and prototype solutions with researchers and engineers.
