Responsibilities
- Assist in resolving publication ethics cases in line with COPE guidelines and employer policies
- Collaborate with journal authors, editors, reviewers, and institutions to address ethical concerns
- Advance cases when necessary, ensuring key internal stakeholders are informed of potential risks
- Identify improvements in workflows for publication ethics investigations
- Organize critical and confidential information in compliance with GDPR guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience in journals academic publishing or academic research with an understanding of peer review processes and workflows
- Experience in assessing and evaluating content or expertise in relevant subject matter
- Familiarity with online manuscript submission systems, preferably ScholarOne
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
