Mayo Clinic's soft matter and microfluidics group is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to develop innovative microfluidic technologies for molecular diagnostics and biomedical applications.

The ideal candidate has expertise in microfluidics and molecular biology, with interest in integrating workflows into automated systems, especially in drop-based microfluidics. Opportunities include high-throughput, single-cell analysis and assay integration.

Qualifications

• PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Applied Sciences.
• Preferred experience in drop-based microfluidics, microfabrication, diagnostics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop microfluidic technologies for molecular diagnostics and biomedical applications.
• Integrate molecular biology workflows into miniaturized, automated microfluidic systems.
• Work on droplet-based microfluidics for biomarker detection and molecular assays.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across biology, engineering, and clinical science.
