The ADA Forsyth Institute is seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow or Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join a dynamic team working on advanced biomaterials, tissue engineering, and nanoparticle drug delivery for oral health applications. The role focuses on developing innovative biomaterial solutions and evaluating dental products in translational research settings.

Ideal candidates have Master’s degree with extensive bone mechanobiology and nanoparticle experience, plus hands-on tissue

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (M.S.) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in bone mechanobiology, nanoparticulate drug delivery, and standard protocol establishment.
• Hands-on experience in tissue engineering, specifically bone mechanical testing and animal handling.
• Expertise in nanoparticle design and synthesis for drug delivery systems.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as histology, microCT, and operating mechanical testing equipment.
• Familiarity with 3D printing processes and CAD/CAM software.
• Experience or strong interest in clinical dental applications, specifically developing evaluation methods and test protocols for dental products.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
• High motivation and responsibility.

Responsabilités

• Develop innovative biomaterial solutions and nanoparticulate drug delivery systems to promote fracture healing and bone regeneration.
• Support dental product evaluation research by developing and executing evaluation methods for various dental products.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams focusing on advanced biomaterials, tissue engineering, and translational science.
