Job summary

Acceler8 Talent seeks a Research Engineer to advance multimodal AI and agentic robotics, designing pipelines that fuse language, vision, and robotics for real-world deployments across solar farms, data centers, refineries, and other critical infrastructure.

Based in Mountain View, CA and onsite, you will work with ex-Google & Meta robotics founders to push VLMs, computer vision, and scalable analytics in field deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in multimodal AI and multimodal data processing.
• Strong background in computer vision and perception.
• Hands-on research with deployment in robotics or real-world systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize multimodal models (language, vision, robotics).
• Build agentic AI systems to coordinate robotic platforms.
• Prototype scalable analytics for real-time infrastructure monitoring.
• Collaborate with founders and field engineers on deployments.
